Spring is (finally) springing… And, another school vacation is (already) upon those of us in Massachusetts with school-aged children.

April vacation is a great time to get the kids decluttering to help other kids (and make life at home a little more peaceful and organized in the process) ~ Helping kids who are less fortunate ~ a teachable moment about service and gratitude, for sure. Let me know how your kids feel about contributing to our collective decluttering efforts.
For Whom? Kids! Especially Pre-School – Pre-Teen
With Whom? Cornerstones Ipswich
What? Games, Puzzles, Personal Computer Games
Some educational aspects preferred.
Please, no violence-themed donations.
Gently-used condition preferred.
No or VERY FEW missing pieces.
Classic old toys like Scrabble and Bingo
accepted regardless of condition.

FYI, some older games and those with missing pieces may be kept at Time Well Spent as potential material for eco-arts projects as pictured in the examples on my photoblog called Picture This @ Time Well Spent. The vast majority of donations will be given to Cornerstones Ipswich.
If you know of other local organizations that could use some gently-used games and puzzles, please encourage them to contact Time Well Spent. Any extra games and puzzles, or those that don’t meet the needs and criteria of Cornerstones Ipswich, will be donated to Cradles to Crayons and The Salvation Army, based on the condition of the games and puzzles.
